This is a storm chasing day for sure - excited! A line of thunderstorms just sideswiped Amherst. More thunderstorms are forecast to follow during the afternoon and evening. This photo was taken from a Hadley farm, looking towards North Amherst. I just missed capturing a beauty of a cloud-to-ground lightning strike to the center-right of this scene - about 4 miles in the distance.
